Kaleigh Bishop, PA, is a skilled physician assistant practicing at Pioneer Peak Orthopedics in Wasilla, Alaska.
Kaleigh was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, where she spent her childhood camping and fishing. She attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, receiving a bachelor’s in microbiology. She then went on to obtain her Master’s in Health Science with an emphasis in molecular medicine at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. She continued to move east to Boston, Massachusetts, where she attended Northeastern University, completing her Master’s In Physician Assistant Studies. Kaleigh returned to Alaska to begin her career in Orthopedic Surgery, working with Dr. Ken Thomas doing orthopedic trauma. After four years, she had the opportunity to join the orthopedic surgery team at Alaska Native Medical Center, where she had treated a wide scope of orthopedic injuries over the past three years.
Kaleigh relocated to the Mat-Su Valley in 2024 with her husband and two small boys. She is excited to explore the outdoors with her children and raise them in a smaller community. She looks forward to joining Pioneer Peak Orthopedics and serving the local community.
