JC Garcia, PA-C

JC was born and raised in Colombia, South America - moving to the United States at sixteen years of age. After completing high school in Lititz, PA, he launched his twenty-seven-year career in prehospital emergency medicine in PA, then TX. He earned his Physician Assistant credentials before relocating to Wasilla, AK.

During his tenure as a Paramedic, he excelled in various specialties, including tactical paramedic, law enforcement officer, flight paramedic, field training officer, and clinical educator. These led him to advance his medical career to the next level. He earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the UND School of Medicine in Grand Forks, ND.

JC is an outdoor enthusiast which was the main factor drawing him to Alaska. He enjoys listening to music, sunny beaches, swimming, camping, fishing, kayaking, and mountain biking. But he is most passionate about his faith and spending time with family.

In 2019 - the youngest of his two children having freshly graduated from high school - he relocated to Wasilla with his wife, where he practiced Urgent Care medicine for three years. He looks forward to providing evidence-based orthopedic care to Alaskans and serving his community.
